Beijing, 2013
gonna introduce my 2nd beijing trip these 4-5 days:)
food come first haha
lemme show 3 of the dishes

1st: fried starfish, scorpion & sea horse
found in Wangfujing Street
the scorpions were still alive!
keep moving until being put in the boiled oil
scary, right?
but we did tried fried scorpions
in fact tasted like french fries :p

2nd: instant-boiled mutton (term used by wiki, dunno if it’s correct haha)
涮羊肉 in Chinese
simply put thin-sliced mutton into the copper hot pot for few seconds
and then eat with tasty tahini
yum yum x)

3rd: Peking duck
perhaps you’ve heard about this famous dish
i always think this is the best way to cook duck :pp
